Leaked screenshots from an early version of Windows 10 for small devices show many similarities to the mobile operating system, which means no desktop environment for devices under 8-inches and it only runs Windows apps — no desktop programs. A new Patch Tuesday released this week fixing 26 vulnerabilities in Windows, Internet Explorer, Office and various other products. Microsoft says that is building a new “Energy-saving” option on Xbox One to help reduce power consumption after critics....

Microsoft’s Surface-branded keyboard and mouse images leaked on to the web, which could be part of the Surface All-in-One PC, which the company is planning to unveil on October 26th, during its new hardware event. The Microsoft Band 2 has been discontinued, and the company doesn’t have any immediate plans to release a Microsoft Band 3 in the future. This week, Google finally launched its rumored Pixel phones. Microsoft didn’t stream the event, but a day after, the company published a number of videos and one in particular that highlights all the improvements for the Surface Pro (2017). Windows 11 build 22000.706 became available as a preview in the Release Preview Channel. This non-security update introduces the Spotlight feature for the desktop and pushes a slew of fixes. As part of the active development of Windows 11, the company also rolled out build 25120 in the Dev Channel with a new search box widget that makes it easier to search the web from the desktop. In the Beta Channel, Windows 11 22H2 received builds 22621.598 and 22622.598 (KB5017390) with several fixes and changes ahead of the official launch on September 20. And in the Release Preview Channel, the company released the build 22000.1041 rolls out as update KB5017383 with Taskbar improvements and fixes apps, search, networking, and more problems. As part of the Patch Tuesday Update for September, the original release of Windows 11 received the build 22000....

Microsoft hints that is working on an Xbox game streaming service, which could be up and running within three years. Although Xbox One X is all about 4K gaming, you don’t necessarily need enhanced titles to take advantage of the new hardware, as Microsoft promises that the console will deliver a number of improvements on existing games. The full disclosure is that Notification Center on build 9841 doesn’t do much, but if you’re eager to see the functionality, you can follow the steps below.
