(Live Mesh is the Microsoft’s Dropbox like service.) SkyDrive will go from a web storage service to a true Cloud service that will integrate to Windows 8 with a new Metro style app — touch friendly interface — and with a desktop application, that according to the software maker is only going to take 10 second to install....

Although The Wall Street Journal’s unnamed source is spicing the rumor, there is not more information to what is already out there on the web, and Microsoft has yet to reveal any details about the possible Boxee, Roku, and the Apple TV competitor. Without a doubt if Microsoft were to launch its own set-top box, it will allow to further gain market on the living room with a lower price, considering the already success of Xbox 360....

The theme is available at no cost to set as desktop backgrounds only on computer using Windows 10. The new translator feature is available for Skype in Windows 10, Windows 8, and even for Windows 7. The feature currently supports six voice languages, including Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, and Mandarin. The Surface Duo is a phone-tablet-like device that features two 5.6-inch OLED displays connected using a 360-degree hinge design, which, when together, create an 8.1-inch canvas with a 3:2 aspect ratio running Android 10. Inside, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with 6GB of memory and up to 256GB of storage. A two-piece 3577mAh battery behind the two displays capable of up to 15.5 hours of video playback, up to 27 hours of talk time, and up to 10 days of standby battery....

The event presented by Microsoft’s Windows and Devices chief, Panos Panay, talked about everything that everyone needs to know about Surface Duo, including the best tips to get started and the technology inside the new phone form factor. During the video presentation, Panos showed off many of the Surface Duo best features, such as working with one or two apps, app group to launch two apps at the same time, tent mode two watch videos without having to hold the device, algorithms to predict how apps open in different scenarios, and much more....

Surface Go design Surface Go is just a shrunk version of the Surface Pro with some tweaks in the design and different internals. The screen is a 3:2 aspect ratio optical bonded ten-point touch PixelSense display with 1800 x 1200-pixel resolution with 217 Pixel-Per-Inch (PPI), and with full 180 degrees viewing angles. The device also comes with a full-friction kickstand that folds down 165 degrees. In the front, there’s a camera with Windows Hello support for biometric authentication and back-facing camera on the back....

The second generation of the Surface Laptop is 85 percent faster, and even though, you won’t find significant design changes (other than the new black finish variant), the biggest changes are happening inside. Starting with the new generation, the base model includes 8GB of memory, and it’ll start at $999. Microsoft is now running a promotional offer to boost sales of its Surface Pro 3, but it seems that the company is only looking to increase the sale of one particular model. The price cut of $150 is for the Surface Pro 3 featuring the Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of local storage, which brings the price down to $1,149 from 1,299. Even more interesting, the Microsoft Store is also adding a free sleeve with the purchase of the tablet....

For Surface Pro 3, the software giant is also rolling out some important improvements.
