According to the announcement, Windows 11 build 22000.120 introduces a new Family widget, brings badge notification for Chat, and adds tweaks to the taskbar, Desktops, Settings, and File Explorer. Also, there are a bunch of fixes for many of the system components. Windows 10 build 22000.120 changes As part of the build 2200.120, this Windows 11 preview adds a new Family widget for Microsoft accounts that allows you to view recent activity from members of your family group in the Widgets interface (Windows key + W keyboard shortcut)....

The update KB5019509 bumps the version number to build 22621.675 and, according to the changes, enables tabs for File Explorer, Suggested Actions, the Taskbar Overflow menu, and the improvements for Nearby sharing to discover more devices. The company also says that the feature drop is only available for early seekers through the Windows Update settings. However, the update will be available more broadly during the next November 2022 security update release....

Today, with the latest leak of Windows 8.1 Update 1, we have a much better understanding of what’s going on. One more to the list of new features for the next Microsoft’s operating system. In a blog post at Building Windows 8 , the software maker revealed their Hyper-V technology that previously was only included in the Server editions of Windows and now will be part Windows 8 client. Hyper-V is an important piece of technology that makes possible virtualization, allowing users to run more than one operating system, either 32-bit or 64-bit, at the same time on the same computer....

The new Start menu will automatically change color to match the wallpaper you are using. So, if you’re using a Windows Theme, you’ll see the menu changing colors quite often. The leaked screenshot below confirms the personalization feature. There is no much to it, but it certainly makes the menu blend in with the desktop very well. Remember that we still are in the early stages of Windows 9 and Microsoft’s plan is to push new changes and features as they become ready....
