Today, according to WMPoweruser, Microsoft has confirmed during a Q&A session in India that it’s planning to expand Continuum support to more phones in the near future. Even though, it’s unclear when the company will bring Continuum to more phones, it’s still a good piece of information knowing that customers will have more choice of handsets supporting the new PC-like experience with Windows 10 Mobile. While we’re now likely to see more phones supporting the feature, unfortunately it doesn’t mean that Microsoft is planning to bring Continuum to older Windows phones, as the feature still requires new hardware to drive multiple displays and perform more complex tasks....

The new section will feature different workspaces, from a home office in tiny corner, in the attic, or in the basement to interesting work places I can come across. The hope with “Workspace” is to hunt down and collect amazing modern space designs to inspire those interested on simple, flexible, and functional approach, providing new ideas on how to organize or redesign a current working area. And to show that a good technology experience isn’t just about having the latest gadget, but also having an amazing and unique space where to use them....

The National Geographic Antarctica theme comes with 12 high-resolution (4K) images, and they’re free to download on Windows 10 devices. At CES 2015, the startup company, Jide showed off the “Ultra Tablet”, a Surface like device loaded with “Remix OS”, featuring a kickstand, a detachable keyboard, and a custom version of Android operating system that shares various similarities with Windows 8.1 and the upcoming Windows 10. The device has an 11.6-inch 1,920 x 1,080 pixels IPS display, close to the Surface Pro 3 12.5-inch display, with an aluminum kickstand that supports 40 and 80 degrees angles, which is similar to the Surface Pro 2 kickstand....

The Sharp RW-16G tablet features a 15.6-inch IGZO, 3200 x 1800 pixels at 235 ppi pixel density, 10-point multi-touch display. For internal hardware this tablet bundles an Intel Core i5-4200U processor, 4GB of memory, Intel HD Graphics 4400, and 128GB of storage. The device only weighs 2.7 pounds, it’s only 0.5-inch thick, and it’ll ship with Windows 8.1 Pro. The Windows tablet also features a nine hours battery life, even with the HD display, as for connectivity the RW-16G comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4....

In a short time after the announcement a lot opinions about the new +1 button started popping up around the Web and they are very divided, many people like the idea and they feel this button should officially be released as soon as possible, and many others are saying that they are not too enthusiastic about it, because they feel that it should be fair to have at least the capability to +1 something as well as -1 other things....

However, the company is expected to unveil new devices and accessories. For example, we are likely to see a new Surface Pro 9 that may be available with Intel and AMD processors, ditching the Surface Pro X model. These devices may come in new color options. Also, the ARM-based model may feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 processor. A new Surface Laptop 5 is also on the short list of announcements, which according to a previous rumor, may come with Intel’s 12-Gen U-Series processors with two high-performance cores and eight efficiency cores....

Initially, the feature was expected to arrive with version 21H2 since it was available through the Dev Channel. However, none of the changes in the Dev Channel are tied to any specific release. As a result, the company has decided that news and interests will roll out alongside version 21H1 this spring. In addition, since version 21H1 has the same file system as versions 20H2 and 2004, the company is also expected to bring the widget to these older releases....

Microsoft says that the next build of Windows 10 for phones will bring the operating system to more devices, as the first public release only supported six Lumia phones. Windows 10 Technical Preview build 10041 finally heads over to the Slow ring of updates and the company makes the ISO available for download. This new build also brings Cortana to more countries and new multi-finger and touch gestures are also coming to the operating system....

The software giant announces that will be kicking off the launch of Windows 10 not with a single event, but with various celebration events around the world focus on Windows fans. Microsoft’s Windows Hello, the new facial recognition technology, gets fully demonstrated on a new video using the new Intel RealSense 3D camera. In addition, Intel reveals a list with Windows 10 PCs that initially will support Windows Hello. As we get closer to the release of Windows 10, Microsoft needs to test its upgrade process via Windows Update, as such the company has temporarily stopped the release of new builds and ISO files downloads....

Xbox One also received an update adding faster download speeds for games and apps — this comes in addition to various other new improvements. You can now stream Xbox One games to Oculus Rift VR headset thanks to the new Xbox One Streaming app, which lets you play games on a gigantic virtual screen. Cortana will soon be everywhere, as Microsoft has unveiled its plans to bring its digital assistant to Windows 10 IoT devices, including fridges, toasters, and thermostats....

Windows 8.1 Smart Search gets smarter with a new update that allows users to ask questions in natural language to get things done quicker. So the next time you need to install a printer, simply ask: “How do I install a printer?” On mobile, this week Microsoft confirms that Windows Phone 8.1 will get an official File Manager in May. The company also released Movie Moments and Reading List apps for Windows Phone 8....

Microsoft also released no one but two preview builds of the upcoming Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, including build 16275 and build 16273, which are near complete versions of the update with a lot of bug fixes. Surface Pro 3 gets a new firmware update adding support for the new Surface Pro Type Covers....

The new preview of Windows 10 includes a number of new features and improvements that Microsoft plans to roll out with the Threshold 2 update later in November, including the Messaging apps powered by Skype, new features in the Settings app, updated context menu on Start, Microsoft Edge tab preview and Favorite syncing new features, and much more.
